Travel back in time, and master one of the most essential skills of your forebears. We will take you on a fire lighting journey, sparking your interest, and teaching you how to master the art of fire lighting in all different ways.
Master modern techniques with modern tinders, before a lesson on the natural tinders that can be found all around us in our 1500 acre woodland.
You will be catching a spark that you have created using a traditional flint and steel, exploring scientific fire lighting methods, and learn how to prepare a single log into pieces that you can then turn into fire.
