Course Information

1. What types of courses do you offer? We offer a range of courses, including beginner bushcraft, advanced survival skills, family bushcraft, and specialized workshops such as foraging, tracking, and wilderness first aid.

2. How long are your courses? Course lengths vary. We offer one-day workshops, weekend courses, and extended week-long adventures. Check our Experiences page for specific details.

3. Where are the courses held? Our courses are held in a private woodland roughly 10 miles to the west of Gloucester. All meeting locations and times will be sent out after booking.

4. What is the group size for each experience? To ensure a personalized experience and effective learning, our courses typically have small group sizes, ranging from 6 to 12 participants.

Booking and Payment

1. How do I book a course? You can book a course directly through our website. Visit our Experiences page, select the experience you’re interested in, and follow the booking instructions.

2. What payment methods do you accept? We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal.
​
3. Can I get a refund if I need to cancel my booking? Our cancellation policy is detailed in our Terms and Conditions policy (please ask for a copy and one will be sent to you). Generally, refunds are available if you cancel at least 14 days before the course start date. Cancellations within 14 days may be subject to a partial refund or rescheduling.

Preparation and Equipment
​
1. What should I bring to a bushcraft course? A list of recommended gear will be provided upon booking. Typically, you’ll need appropriate outdoor clothing. We will provide all of the essential equipment needed for your course, but if you are on one of our weekend events then you'll need to bring personal equipment such as, a sleeping bag, a water bottle, and basic camping equipment.

2. Do I need to have any prior experience or bring special equipment? No prior experience is necessary for our beginner courses. For more advanced courses, some basic knowledge might be recommended. All necessary specialized equipment will be provided during the course.

3. What if I don't have all the required gear? We offer rental options for some essential gear. Please contact us in advance if you need to rent any equipment.

Safety and Health

1. Are the courses safe? Safety is our top priority. All courses are led by experienced instructors, and we adhere to strict safety protocols. We also conduct thorough risk assessments for all activities. All of our instructors are DBS checked and First Aid trained.

2. What if I have a medical condition or dietary requirements? Please inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements when booking your course. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

3. Do I need insurance? We recommend that all participants have personal accident insurance. We carry public liability insurance, but personal coverage is advised for additional protection.
