Come as you are. Leave a little lighter.
Mental-health is something that affects many of us. Nearly 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. The pressures of modern life, stress, isolation and uncertainty can make it hard to stay grounded.
That’s why we believe in the power of nature and community. Spending time outdoors has been shown to reduce stress, lower anxiety, and improve mood. Being with likeminded people to share stories, listen, laugh, or simply sitting together can help remind us we’re not alone.
There’s no therapy, no pressure, and no expectations, just nature, a crackling campfire, honest conversation, and community.
Whether you want to chat, listen, or simply sit with the trees, you’re welcome exactly as you are.
James, a trained Mental Health First Aider, will be there to help create a safe, supportive space for all. We’re not therapists, we’re simply people who believe in the power of nature and connection.
These sessions are offered at no cost. If you’d like to support the running of the sessions, you’ll find a small donation pot in the roundhouse. We will have free teas and coffees available - and of course some snacks, but please feel free to bring whatever you want.
A second pot will collect optional contributions for a local mental health charity, helping support others within the community.
Everyone is welcome, and we hope to see you there.
Even though our sessions are completely free, we do ask that you get a ticket so we can have an idea of numbers.
