What You’ll Learn on Our Beginner Bushcraft Course

  • How to light a fire without matches or a lighter

  • How to build a simple bushcraft shelter

  • Safe use of knives and cutting tools

  • How to make basic tools and useful camp items

  • How to make cordage from natural materials

  • Demonstrations of more advanced bushcraft skills

  • Tips for choosing and using your own gear

  • Foundational skills to build confidence outdoors

All courses are held at our bushcraft training centre, set within 1500 acres of private woodland. 

Learn the fundamentals and the basics of bushcraft, leaving you inspired and giving you the building blocks to start your future within the outdoor world. Learn how to light a fire without matches or a lighter and make your own bushcraft shelter. Learn how to make tools and items that will make your time in the woods easier using knives and other cutting tools. Learn how to make natural cordage and watch demonstrations on more advanced aspects of bushcraft.

We will supply all the necessary tools and equipment that you'll need to complete this course, but please feel free to bring your own gear if you have items and want to try it all out. We are happy to offer tips and advice wherever we can.
